I have been fascinated with the human form for many years. Butt's all started with a clay form I was throwing, it started to collapse so picked up a paddle I pushed it up the side of the form to keep it upright.
It reminded me of a persons backside so I put love handles on it. I started to experiment with altering a thrown form creating a figure with a nice butt, that was in 2000. I've never gotten tired of making them. hundreds of my student's have them as their requested senior gift. They are all made one at a time and never quite the same. |
